Shelby is amazing. She listens and really cares about my well-being.

My physician wasn't available, so I was given an appointment with Shelby Thornton and she was awesome! She listened to my concerns and addressed them all. I was very happy that I went.

Shelby looked up past visits to check medications I took before for my bronchitis. That put me at ease

Provider gave same old song and dance to anyone getting labs back. Poor recommendation, no time/care put into patient. I responded in MyChart and said I took exception to the idea I needed to workout & eat better.

Shelby always goes above and beyond when she takes care of me and my children. I especially appreciated her help today for a sensitive problem I had. She was so kind and caring and really respected my feelings. She took care of it right away and just made me feel so at ease. My children and I will always see Shelby for our medical care!!

I have been going to St. Elizabeth's since 1987. This visit felt rushed. For the first time, I felt like Shelby Thornton was distracted and in a hurry. She mentioned something about my blood work from a few months prior and if I did something (I had no idea what she was referring to) and then commented on it being too late and that maybe my levels wouldn't allow surgery. Then she was gone. I felt rushed and walked out full of anxiety (which I know is not her intent.)

Pa Thornton is a lot better than the doctor l had there for twenty years.

Shelby Horton was amazing! She really sat there and listened and made sure to cover everything. Even ran some more test just to rule things out to put MY mind at ease.

I felt like I inconveniencing her to be on the virtual visit- she was around 15-20 minutes later than the time I was told to \"be sure you are on and ready at this exact time.\" She seemed Irritated and was kind of saying \"this Is normal what do you want me to do?\"

Every time I receive care I feel rushed the door despite having to wait long periods to be seen. No concern to have any of my questions answered. Makes assumptions or questions answers I provide to basic information or for the reason for my appointment. Overall, I unstatisfird with the care I recieved since switching care providers years ago. Will be looking for a new one

Appointment was scheduled for 9:30 provided er did not enter room til 10:13 did not apologize for delay or introduce herself did not even acknowledge the delay. Was very quiet and closed off not welcoming made me uncomfortable felt like I was inconveniencing her by being there

Overall I had a very bad experience during this visit. The doctor was late, and it was clear that she was short on time and not interested in treating me at this time or anytime in the future.

*Dr. Shelby Thornton is a very good and very thorough. She really takes the time with her patients. She is awesome.

I had to go out of my way to explain why I was there in the first place, I was able to get a change of my medication, but I had to ask myself what the risks/side effects of the new medication would be, and wasn't asked many questions when it concerned my mental health, it was as though I was just another statistic under someone's belt. I felt alone in my fight and wasn't given any advice or additional resources to help me with my mental state.

I've never had a medical professional say \"I'm going yo do my best to take good care of you\". That really struck me. I will return to see the nurse practitioner because of her caring demeanor.

She seems very distant. Found it really hard to communicate with her. She passed my questions on to my specialist. Didn't seem concerned I'm what was bothering me. Seemed very judgmental because of my past. Would really like a new primary care doctor.
