Text Messaging Terms and Conditions

St. Elizabeth Healthcare (“St. Elizabeth”) offers access to information via recurring Short Message Service (“SMS”) text alerts to “opted-in” subscribers. As an “opted-in” subscriber, you are signing up to receive text messages related to your relationship with St. Elizabeth that may include, but are not limited to, updates related to your visits, MyChart account, one-time passcode, billing notifications, prescription reminders, and care management. These messages may contain your protected health information and such details as medication details (name, fill status, etc.); appointment details (date, time, location, provider name, etc.); and billing notifications (billing amount due, etc.).

Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any treatment provided by St. Elizabeth. For more information on St. Elizabeth’s digital privacy practices, please review the St. Elizabeth Privacy Policy.

When you sign up for text messages from this service, you are also signing up to receive text messages from the following independent third-party health care facilities for whom St. Elizabeth provides this contracted service:

Message Frequency

Following opting in to receive notifications, the frequency of SMS messages you receive will vary based on the text messages services, the number of text message services in which you enrolled, and frequency of services received from St. Elizabeth.

User Opt-Out

You can opt-out of SMS messages by texting “STOP” to the respective short code. Your opt-out request will generate one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive SMS messages from the short code you opted out from. If you want to join again, sign up using your MyChart account or text “HELP” to the short code for instructions.

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance.
