I asked to get my allergy shot, which by the way I've been getting for over 22 yrs and he refused. I understood his reasoning and concerns but I have tried everything he was talking about in the past and none of those options have worked for me. I told him I wanted the shot anyway and he told that \" maybe he wasn't the Dr. For me\". I thought that was rude, condescending and realized at that point that he wasn't listening to my concerns. But he was right, he is not the Dr for me as I will NEVER be seen by him again. I would think that a brand new dr to the practice wouldn't be so eager to run patients off.
It was obvious Dr. Hartman was very knowledgeable and genuinely cared about me as his patient.

The doctor listened to me when I talk to him about some of my medicine didn't work like it used to and he corrected it and gave me different amounts of medicine or different kinds of medicine
Dr. Hartman was personable and took time to explain my procedure as he was performing it.
I felt the doctor didn't take into consideration my past issues. I've suffered from this condition for yrs and when asked about treatment I felt looked over.
Cut me off when talking to ask about a medication I wasn't even there to talk about or that he even prescribes.

Dr. Hartman has never just ignored a concern I have had. He explains to me why a fear of having a possible condition is self assessed wrongly. If I refuse a suggested treatment, he does not push it but tries to encourage it in other ways. He is good in the # of methods and approaches he uses but when he suggests a treatment, I usually do not question it so he has not as yet had to offer alternative treatment options. This visit required some additional testing. If anything adverse results, I have faith he will explain the results.

Good Experience
I was very favorably impressed with the attention he provided re my health.
He does not listen. After 15 minutes he looked at his watch said well I guess that's about it 15 minutes are up. He headed out the door I told him we were not done. He seemed irritated but came back for few more minutes.I told the m.a. and him I was due for my flu shot. I never got it.
