Edgewood, KY – St. Elizabeth Physicians has received the Certified Urgent Care designation for three of its centers in Crittenden, Newport and Florence, making St. Elizabeth the first in Greater Cincinnati and second in Kentucky to receive such designation. These centers have met the Urgent Care Association of America’s stringent criteria, ensuring patients receive advanced, high-quality care with the convenience of walk-in visits. St. Elizabeth is the only health system in the Greater Cincinnati region to hold this certification.

St. Elizabeth’s Urgent Care and Express Care centers are intended for medical conditions that need treatment right away but are not a medical emergency.

Crittenden, Newport and Florence Urgent Care centers offer convenient evening and weekend hours, and patients are not required to have an appointment. Each center is equipped with X-ray and laboratory services. In addition, each center is always staffed with a physician who is available to perform minor procedures such as casting and suturing.
