Holladay graduated from the University of Toledo Medical School and completed his general and orthopaedic residency at Akron City Hospital. He completed a year of fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery with the Bone and Joint Institute at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Holladay served as a team physician for the 2007 Pan American Games USA men’s and women’s basketball teams in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has also served as a USOC team physician at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. For the past twenty-five years, he has been the team physician for several high school teams in Northern Kentucky. SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH DR. HOLLADAY LEARN MORE Meet Nicholas Mai, APRN Nicholas M. Mai is a board-certified nurse practitioner who works exclusively in the office and the operating room with Dr. Bruce R. Holladay. Mr. Mai received his nursing degree from Northern Kentucky University in 2001. He worked for St. Elizabeth Healthcare as an emergency room nurse before earning a master's degree as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Cincinnati, in 2008. He is a member of the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives, and he was instrumental in the development of OrthoCincy's After-Hours Injury Clinic. His interests include, sports medicine, sports related injuries, fracture management, adult reconstructive surgery and workers' compensation.
