Beyond Delivery is a group to provide free support, education, and fellowship for the first six months following delivery. The group will be led by a team comprised of a Mother Baby Registered Nurse and a Lactation Consultant (LC). The mother/father can attend with their baby and meet other new parents.
Each meeting will be an hour long. The meeting will flow as below:
- The first 15 minutes will be introductions and socializing.
- An educational session will be presented on a selected topic. Lasting about 20-25 minutes.
- The remainder will be open Q&A and discussion. One-on-one with the LC if desired. Baby weights can also be done in this time.
