Neuroblastoma

Overview

Neuroblastoma is a cancer that is most often found in the small glands on top of the kidneys, called the adrenal glands. The cancer can develop in the abdomen, chest, neck and near the spine. Children ages 5 or younger are most commonly affected.

Symptoms

Symptoms may include abdominal pain and a mass in the abdomen. There may be fever, back pain, diarrhea or constipation.

Treatments

Neuroblastoma treatments include surgery, radiation therapy and medicines.
