FLU SHOTS Available In October!
FLU season is upon us and time to start thinking about protecting yourself with a flu shot. By receiving a flu shot, we demonstrate our commitment to protecting the health and safety of our patients, many of whom have already weakened immune systems.
Hospital administration has strongly encouraged ALL staff, physicians and volunteers to get a flu shot this year. Next year (2017) flu shots will become mandatory.
Employee Health will be holding free flu clinics beginning in October. Please click here for dates, locations and times. You can also choose to get your free flu shot in the Employee Health office (375 Thomas More Parkway, Suite 205) beginning October 3. You must show your volunteer badge or photo ID. Teens under the age of 18 need a signed Parent Consent Form. Contact any Volunteer Office.
If you do not receive your flu shot through St. Elizabeth, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid are requiring documentation of where and when you do receive a shot. Please share a copy of your flu shot receipt with the Volunteer Office no later than 2 weeks after receiving the shot.
Required Annual Training
Volunteers must complete a yearly training review as directed by The Joint Commission. Please click here to find the review and follow the instructions.
Thank you for keeping us compliant!
