Infant Massage Therapy - Unique Way to Show Baby Your Love!
They hear our voices, but don’t understand our words yet. We can still show our babies we love them, particularly through our touch. And there may be few other ways to truly communicate through touch than by the art of a skilled infant massage.

With your doctor’s approval, St. Elizabeth Healthcare can bring a licensed massage therapist - certified in newborn massage – to your bedside shortly after your baby arrives. Giving your baby this first massage tells your baby he or she is safe, loved and understood. It begins to build the foundation of communication between the two of you. Newborn massage also is shown to:

  • Help baby’s digestion, which may help facilitate weight gain and growth.
  • Facilitate deeper, more restful sleep.
  • Stimulate baby’s immune system

Massage Delivered Right to Your Business Chair
Have you got a special business event? Would you just like to reward your employees for all their hard work? Consider scheduling a licensed massage therapist to come to your workplace to offer brief, on-site chair massages and simultaneously give a big boost to company morale.

Chair massage focuses on the high-tension areas of the neck, back, shoulders, arms and hands. Our highly skilled massage therapists can provide these 10 to 20 minute instant stress relievers at your business or special event. Then you can just sit back and watch the smiles. You can also come to our St. Elizabeth Holistic Health Center locations for 30-minute or longer chair massages.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage combines heat therapy with massage by using small stones to create a deep, relaxing and healing treatment. The heat of the stones warms the skin. This allows for absorption of moisturizing and therapeutic oils and prepares the body’s muscles for the therapist to work into the deep tissue layers.

Prenatal & Postpartum Massage: Helping the Body Through Changes
Your pregnancy is one of the most transformational times in your life. The changes in your body are obvious as your shape grows to accommodate your growing baby. But there are many unseen changes occurring as well, physiologically, psychologically and emotionally.

In fact, all the change can be stressful and sometimes even painful. Prenatal massage can help. Our licensed massage therapists are certified in pregnancy massage and know how to ease the stress and strains through skillful touch and muscular manipulation. Some of the benefits of pregnancy massage include:

  • Alleviation of stress on weight-bearing joints, easing the body’s adjustment to carrying additional weight.
  • Reduction of excess fluid in the extremities.
  • Enhanced relaxation and more restful sleep.

In the 10 weeks after delivery, your body will be working hard to return to its pre-pregnancy state. Many changes will be taking place simultaneously, from the shrinking size of your tummy, to sporadic muscle soreness and fatigue.

Postpartum massage can help your body as it rehabilitates, while helping you alleviate the stress and increased energy demands every new baby brings to its mother. Some of the benefits of postpartum massage include:

  • Reduction in exhaustion felt after labor
  • Normalization of the size of the uterus
  • Alleviation of muscle soreness
  • Facilitation of structural realignment of the spine and pelvis
