St. Elizabeth Healthcare values your years of preparation and offers a competitive stipend and benefits compensation program.

As a St. Elizabeth Healthcare Fellow, you will receive:

  • A $60,000 stipend (salary for the 2013-2014 academic year which is adjusted annually)
  • Medical and dental insurance with premium participation (approximately 20%)
  • Long-term disability insurance
  • Term life insurance policy equal to 2 times your salary
  • Four weeks of paid vacation
  • Six paid holidays
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance of up to $2,500
  • Moving allowance of $500, (one time payment – not applicable if already received as a St. Elizabeth Healthcare Resident)
  • Fees paid for medical staff dues, KY license, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration and approved membership to the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM), the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the Kentucky Academy of Family Physicians (KAFP)
  • Moonlighting available in-house
  • Private Health Club membership
  • Recreation and exercise area in hospital
  • Day care center for children is available
  • On-site medical library with librarian support
  • Gainsharing – Annual bonuses paid based on St. Elizabeth profitability, quality and patient satisfaction.
