Braden Blankenship, M.D.

Dr. Braden Blankenship is originally from Pikeville, Kentucky. He earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown and his medical degree from Louisville.

Braden chose St. Elizabeth Family Medicine Residency due to its excellent faculty and residents, wonderful facilities and tradition of compassionate patient care. He feels St. Elizabeth best represented the complete Family Medicine Program while simultaneously making him feel “at home.”

Braden considers himself a “rabid University of Kentucky Wildcats fan” and a “die-hard Chicago Cubs follower.” He looks forward to the numerous opportunities and relationships that his new home in Northern Kentucky will yield, allowing him to grow both as a physician and an individual.

Chrystal Coates, M.D.

Dr. Chrystal Coates is originally from Nova Scotia, Canada. She earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and her medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine, located on the five square mile island of Saba.

Chrystal chose St. Elizabeth Family Medicine Residency not only for the truly amazing people that make up this program, but also because of the strong curriculum that is both diverse and challenging, molding her into the best Family Practice physician she can be.

Chrystal medical interests include pediatrics, obstetrics and mental health. In her free time she enjoys hiking, travelling, cooking, baking and spending time with family and friends.

Erica Davis Perrino, M.D.

Dr. Erica Davis Perrino is originally from the small town of Charleston located in central Illinois. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois where she earned undergraduate degrees in both biology and psychology as well as her medical degree.

Erica chose St. Elizabeth Family Medicine Residency for a many reasons. Women’s health, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and performing procedures are all things she is passionate about, and she found that most programs couldn’t compete with St. Elizabeth in all of those areas.

In her free time, Erica enjoys cooking, collecting hardcover classic novels, watching movies, traveling and spending time with friends and family. She lives in Independence, KY with her six-year-old Maltese Poodle, Zoey.

Laura Foor, D.O.

Dr. Laura Foor is originally from Huntington, West Virginia. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech where she studied Biochemistry and Disease Medicine and Health. She attended medical school at the Edward Via College of Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Prior to graduation, the shootings on the Virginia Tech campus occurred, causing Laura to take some time to reflect on life and postpone her medical training for a year. During that year, she took a job at the Virginia Tech Dairy Science Complex raising calves and milking cows.

Laura made the decision to complete her residency at St. Elizabeth during her third year of medical school. She credits the St. Elizabeth’s location and its strong OB fellowship as the leading reasons for her choice.

Laura and her husband, Cole, are animal lovers. They have two farm cats, Buddy and Kiki; two chinchillas, Pepper and Ginger; and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Olive.

Stefanie Lewis, M.D.

Dr. Stefanie Lewis is originally from Huber Heights, Ohio. She earned her bachelor of science in biology from Wright State University and her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine.

Stefanie’s first clinical rotation in her third year of medical school was at the St. Elizabeth Family Practice Center. She credits that rotation for sparking her passion for family medicine. In addition to family medicine, she is also interested in integrative medicine and would like to someday become certified in acupuncture.

Outside of medicine, Stefanie’s interests are varied and include dancing, painting, camping, canoeing/kayaking, baking and cooking. One of her favorite baking traditions is helping her grandmother make over a dozen different kinds of traditional German Christmas cookies and cakes.

Dominic Perrino, D.O.

Dr. Dominic Perrino is originally from Cincinnati and grew up in the city of Norwood, OH. He earned his undergraduate degree from St. Louis University and his doctor of osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

When deciding where to complete his residency, Dominic chose St. Elizabeth Family Residency because it is an unopposed program (the only residency program offered by St. Elizabeth Healthcare) giving him a broad range of clinical experiences and a greater opportunity to be involved in patient care throughout all three years of his residency.

Dominic is happy to be back in the Greater Cincinnati Area. Outside of medicine, his hobbies include playing sports, cooking and watching movies.

Brittany Sullivan, M.D.

Dr. Brittany Sullivan is originally from Hebron, Kentucky where she attended Conner High School and participated in various sports. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where she earned her undergraduate degree in biology as well as her medical degree.

While attending medical school, Brittany married her high school sweetheart. They are expecting their first baby soon and are happy to be back in the Northern Kentucky area. They hope to remain in this region once her residency is complete.

Matt Turner, M.D.

Dr. Matt Turner is originally from Eastern Kentucky. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where he majored in biology and chemistry. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville.

Matt chose the St. Elizabeth Family Medicine Residency program in part because it is an unopposed program, (the only residency program offered by St. Elizabeth Healthcare) which offers the ability to gain skills and experiences that might be difficult to obtain at other programs, but also because of the many great people he met from the program during his visit to interview.

Outside of medicine, Matt’s interests include mountain biking, golfing and whitewater kayaking. His ultimate goal is to move back to the underserved area of Eastern Kentucky to practice once he completes his residency.
