The fight against cancer is about to get a powerful ally in the Dearborn community. The St. Elizabeth Dearborn Cancer Center will open its doors in 2024, bringing with it the latest innovations in cancer research, treatment and survivorship programs.
When it opens in 2024, the Dearborn Cancer Center will offer a centralized location for increased access and patient convenience, along with:
- Precision medicine and genomic health will use cutting-edge science and technology to ensure we deliver the right medication, in the right dose, at the right time.
- Increased education, prevention services, and advanced imaging and screening will help identify cancers sooner.
- Advanced technology will diagnose cancer at an earlier stage and increase survival.
- Clinical research and access to more clinical trials, sponsored by the National Cancer Institute and NCI National Clinical Trials Network.
- Our collaborative team includes medical and radiation oncologists, surgeons, nurse navigators, research nurses and genetic counselors.
- Integrative oncology, survivorship support, nutritionists, social services and financial counselors support your journey.
But our mission doesn’t stop there. Our passion for detecting and curing cancer drives us to increase cancer education, screening and prevention services to identify cancers sooner and save more lives. We believe that together, we can make a real difference in the fight against cancer.
