A Taste of Health
"A Taste of Health" is a partnership between Remke bigg’s and St. Elizabeth Healthcare focused on educating the community on how to eat and live well. Through our partnership, we're able to bring the best knowledge and expertise together in one location to better serve our community in gaining a better understanding of the relationship our food choices play in our overall health.
At our "A Taste of Health" events, we offer cooking demonstrations by Remke bigg's chefs along with health related presentations from St. Elizabeth Healthcare representatives. These topics can include eating well with diabetes, women's health, heart healthy eating options and more.

Sports and Nutrition
Proper training and eating right are essential to improving your athletic performance. Whether you or your child are active or participating in sports this Taste of Health session is right for you. The steep rise in concussions is a recent topic of concern. You will hear from experts on the changes that occur when an athlete suffers from a concussion as well as tips for reducing the risk of injury in any sport including, running, baseball/softball, golf or basketball. You will also learn recipe ideas to ensure you are taking in the proper amount of calories and nutrients as you live an active lifestyle.
