These words are an accurate description for the career of Lisa Ann Marshall. In 1984, Lisa graduated from Thomas More College and the St. Elizabeth School of Medical Technology (now called Medical Laboratory Science) and began her lifelong career in a field to which she was devoted. For over 30 years, Lisa was dedicated to the excellence of her vocation – whether it was running tests because “Patient lives are depending on us to do our best work” to giving lectures to future Medical Technologists. And it was a vocation, not just a job. Lisa saw her work as a gift that needed to be tended and grown. Education was very important to Lisa and to that end, she used her gifts to teach and inspire others. In her memory, The Marshall Family is proud to offer a scholarship to a student of the St. Elizabeth School of Medical Laboratory Science to help prepare them for a career of Excellence, Dedication and Care.
