Dr. Wissel is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with OrthoCincy Orthopedics and Sports Medicine specializing in sports medicine, general orthopedics, and the treatment of shoulder, hip, and knee conditions and is trained in MAKOplasty robotic-assisted technology. He helps patients of all ages recover from injuries, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy through personalized treatment plans tailored to their goals and lifestyle. Dr. Wissel has expertise in arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement, fracture care, and sports-related injuries. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine, and pursued fellowship training in Sports Medicine at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation. In addition to caring for patients, he serves as Chief of Surgery at St. Elizabeth Dearborn Hospital and as team physician for Milan High School.
