Overview

Sacroiliitis is inflammation of one or both of the joints that connect the lower spine and pelvis, called sacroiliac joints.

Symptoms

Pain is often in the buttocks and lower back. It may occur in the legs, groin and feet. It can increase with activity.

Treatments

Treatments focus on relieving pain. They can include medicines, muscle relaxants and physical therapy.
