Physical abuse is the use of force to cause physical harm or pain to someone. Children, older adults, and females are frequent victims.

Symptoms

Bone fractures, wounds, multiple bruises, and broken eyeglasses are some signs.

Treatments

Abuse needs to be reported to authorities. Injuries are treated as needed. Counseling and support groups may help victims.
