Overview

A nutrition disorder is caused by poor diet or an inability of the body to use certain nutrients. Examples include overeating leading to obesity and a lack of healthy red blood cells (anemia) caused by limited vitamin C or iron.

Nutrition education and vitamin and mineral supplements may help.
