CINCINNATI (WKRC) – The St. Elizabeth Yung Family Cancer Center is celebrating its fifth anniversary in October by honoring cancer survivors. Dr. Doug Flora, executive medical director at the center, said the donation allows for investment in “more cutting-edge clinical trials giving patients access to world class cancer care closer to home.” Since its opening, the center has focused on treating the whole person, offering programs like cooking classes to educate patients on food as medicine.
