According to the Centers of the Disease Control and Prevention, COVID-19 symptoms can vary can mild to severe sickness. Symptoms may appear from two to 14 days from exposure. Common symptoms include:

Shortness of breath

Fatigue

Muscles or Body Aches

Headaches

New Loss of Taste or Smell

Sore Throat

Congestion or runny nose

Nausea or vomiting

Diarrhea

Testing may also be available at our urgent care locations, but require a provider evaluation to determine if a test is required. Please call first.

If you have chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, a severe headache or other potentially life-threatening problems, go to the nearest emergency department or call 911. Please do not go to the emergency department for a COVID-19 test. Our emergency departments are only for those who need the most critical care.

Where and How to Get a COVID-19 Test
If you are having symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever, aches, etc.) or direct exposure and require a COVID test, please call your St. Elizabeth primary care provider or schedule a video visit with your St. Elizabeth primary care provider.

Getting Vaccinated for COVID-19
Where can I get a COVID-19 vaccine?
COVID-19 vaccine appointments are available at St. Elizabeth Physicians (SEP) primary care, pediatric and family medicine locations in Kentucky and Indiana.
Patients can also receive a COVID-19 vaccine during their regularly scheduled appointments. Appointments for a subsequent dose will be made before leaving the office or can be scheduled via MyChart.

People who are immunocompromised may also receive an additional dose of an updated COVID-19 vaccine 2 or more month after the last updated dose.
Recommended vaccines for all patients, including if you received the original COVID-19 vaccines.

Robin Morency: A Story of Gratitude
Robin Morency was admitted to St. Elizabeth after testing positive for bilateral COVID-19 and bacterial pneumonia in December of 2021.
After being chemically paralyzed and placed on a ventilator, Robin was able to begin therapy with the Post-COVID-19 Recovery Program with St. Elizabeth Occupational and Physical Therapists.
