St. Elizabeth Healthcare is grateful for the generosity of our community in their gifts of time, talent and funds. Are you interested in another means to assist our patients? Donation of items such as brand new and unused clothing, books, blankets, board games and diapers can make a big difference to patients and their families spending time in the hospital.

Our patients in Cancer Care sit for long periods of time receiving their treatment and need items to help provide a distraction through entertainment to make them more comfortable. St. Elizabeth associates like to stay in touch with patients and family by sending cards on special occasions.

Our Hospice patients and families are often in need of brand new and unused items that can help them pass the time and assist in making them more comfortable. They also need home care supplies and help with transportation costs. All items must be new and unused.
  • Lap blankets (30” x 30”, made from new material)
  • Yarn for blankets
  • Subscriptions to newspapers or magazines
  • Books, books on tape
  • Video and audio recording devices
  • iPads
  • Crafting/Art supplies, books, chess or checker boards, crosswords, board games, puzzles, etc.
  • DVDs for inpatient rooms

  • Gas cards/gift cards for patient families who travel long distances to visit Hospice patients

  • Quilts for use in the unit or to be given out at discharge as a keepsake for the family
    • IMPORTANT – no batting can be used in the quilts to be used in the unit

    • Quilt sizes for the unit:  30” x 30”, 36” x 36”, 42” x 36” (may be longer)
    • Quilts sizes for discharge:  36” x 36” or larger

  • Items for care sacks for the parents of babies in the NICU (some of the babies are in the NICU for 2-3 months and parents stay/visit often)
