Spine Center at St. Elizabeth Healthcare

Eight out of 10 Americans have experienced back pain, according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Back pain can range from a minor twinge to pain that keeps you from the activities you love. When you experience pain in your neck or back, you want answers and a treatment plan that will help get you back to the things you enjoy.

Comprehensive Care for Better Outcomes

Treating back and neck pain requires a comprehensive, integrated approach. That’s why the Spine Center brings together leading spine specialists together for a comprehensive approach to treat your spine issues.

Our teams work across disciplines – neurosurgeons, orthopedic spine surgeons, pain management specialists, physical therapists, radiologists and nurses – to create a plan that meets your specific needs. This integrated approach to diagnose and treat back or neck pain leads to better patient outcomes, which means you can get back more quickly to the things you love.

State-of-the-Art Technology

At the Spine Center, patients can access state-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient treatment options and diagnostic tests, making it easy to identify the underlying cause of back or neck pain, and effectively treat it. Our team provides both non-surgical and surgical solutions for both complex and more common spine conditions.

When you visit the Spine Center, your physician will work closely with you to understand your medical history, how long you have experienced back or neck pain and any recent injuries. Your physician will likely order imaging tests to better understand the cause of your pain, and then create a treatment plan with you and your team.

Most often, back and neck pain can be managed without surgery through medication, rest, lifestyle modifications and physical therapy. When surgery is required, our experienced team will lead you through your options, including the latest technology in spine surgery, such as Mobi-C cervical disc replacement and Mazor X spinal fusion.
