NICU Baby Cuddler Position
Thank you for your interest in becoming a “Cuddler Volunteer” with St. Elizabeth’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We are always impressed with the interest and concern our community has for these vulnerable infants. Application for the NICU Baby Cuddler position is open only for current St. Elizabeth volunteers or associates who have a minimum of 6 months of service or employment.

In 2015, over 1,250 different individuals volunteered across more than 125 departments throughout St. Elizabeth Healthcare. Cumulatively, they logged over 111,000 hours.

Our volunteers span 92 years, with 27% being teens (at least 14 years old) and a total of 10 volunteers being over the age of 90 (our oldest active volunteer is 96). Why do they do it? Because they are passionate about their role in making a positive difference in the patient experience.
