On average, over 1,400 different individuals volunteer throughout St. Elizabeth Healthcare and log over 115,000 hours every year.

Our volunteers range from high school students to adults in their 90s. More than 150 of these individuals have volunteered for 10 or more years.

Why do they do it? Because they are passionate about their role in making a positive difference in the patient experience.

We’re Moving!
Edgewood Volunteer Office Relocating in Late November/Early December


Later this year, the Volunteer Services Office in Edgewood will be relocating to a new space near the 1A Main Entrance. The entrance will be in the corridor between the ED and Radiology, and the space sits directly behind the Departure Lounge. This new space will feature a kitchenette, seating area, lockers and storage space, workstations, and three new offices.

Once the move is complete, the new location will replace the sign-in room in the ED Hallway behind the Gift Shop. We anticipate this move will take place in late November/early December.

Keep an eye on The Voice for more details and information about an Open House once our official move date is confirmed!

For volunteers who sign in and out near in our current location near the 3A Entrance, we realize that this may impact your current routines. We will be in touch with our Edgewood volunteers regarding sign-in options, lockers, and parking at a later time.
