EDGEWOOD, KY—For the third year in a row, U.S. News & World Report has named the Family Birth Place at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood “High Performing” in maternity care. This honor highlights our commitment to maternal and newborn health and reflects the exceptional care provided by our dedicated teams. It is the result of ongoing efforts to improve patient experiences and outcomes, showcasing advanced practices and expert care.
This year, U.S. News & World Report evaluated 901 hospitals nationwide that provide labor and delivery services to help assist expectant parents in making informed decisions about where to receive maternity care. Only 147 earned the “High Performing” rating based on a composite score for maternity care utilizing seven measures in their methodology.
“This recognition reflects the way our teams combine evidence-based practice with compassionate care,” says Ellee Adams, Director of Women & Children’s Services. “We’re proud of the lives they have touched and the support and expertise they bring to our community.”
For families in Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati region, this designation means access to the highest level of maternity care, right in our community.
