Expert Cardiac Emergency Care

When a heart attack strikes, it’s a life-threatening event and every second counts. That’s why it’s so important to recognize heart attack symptoms and call 911 right away. We have a highly coordinated process to ensure you receive care as quickly as possible in the early stages of a heart attack, when treatment is most effective.

Expert Cardiac Emergency Care Team

When paramedics determine you’re having a heart attack, they begin lifesaving treatment and notify our Emergency Department – and members of a specialized care team – that they’re on their way, so we’re ready to jump into action when you arrive.

A doctor will immediately assess your condition and transport you to the Cardiac Catheterization Lab for a diagnostic angiogram. Treatment may include balloon angioplasty, stent placement, atherectomy or a thrombectomy to restore blood flow to your heart.

Our heart and vascular experts deliver fast, expert care to provide you with the best possible outcome.

Knowing hands-only CPR can help prepare you for a health emergency. For Terri Randall, it meant saving her husband’s life.

When he woke up with chest pain early on the morning of August 18, 2023, Dale sprang to action. “He woke me up about five in the morning and told me that he was having chest pain, and he was scared and that it felt very different than anything he felt before,” said Dale’s wife, Terri Randall.
