Best Upon Request is a national company that provides on-site employee and patient concierge services to innovative organizations like St. Elizabeth Healthcare. In business for 30 years, their purpose is to create life-enriching experiences. Why is this service offered? St. Elizabeth has partnered with Best Upon Request (BEST) to help improve the pregnancy experience. BEST is here to help from the time you find out that you are pregnant up until 6 weeks after your little one is discharged from the Family Birth Place. We want our patients and families to be well cared for, and that includes assisting with needs the clinical staff may not be able to address. We want to make the birth of your child even more unforgettable. What types of services are offered through Best Upon Request? The concierge team can assist your family with any non-medical needs that arise during your pregnancy and up to six weeks after your baby is discharged. Best Upon Request can also help plan special gifts or celebrations to make mom, dad and older siblings feel loved. What remote concierge services are available? Some of the ways we can help serve you remotely include porch delivery of food, prescriptions, toiletries, porch pick-up of Amazon returns, shipping, dry cleaning, providing resources for children’s activities, handling travel cancellations and arranging home services such as lawn care, gutter cleaning, etc. *Please note: We are able to run errands within a 13 mile radius of St. Elizabeth Edgewood. Who is eligible to use the concierge service? All patients and their care team are eligible to make requests from the concierge team. This includes family, friends and anyone who has a role in the care of the family to be. Why am I required to complete an Enrollment Form in order to use the service? The one-time enrollment allows us to serve you most efficiently and to act on your behalf. We encourage moms-to-be to fill out the Enrollment Form at the time of your first prenatal visit. This will enable us to start helping you with whatever you need during your pregnancy. BEST meets the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirements to protect all personal and payment information. How much does the service cost, and am I required to tip the concierge? There are no additional costs to access the concierge, just the cost of the goods and services you request. BEST accepts cash and all major credit cards as payment to vendors or to reimburse BEST. The concierge team does not accept tips, but would appreciate if you fill out a Feedback Form, explaining how BEST service impacted you!
