Lung Cancer Screening

St. Elizabeth offers low-dose lung cancer CT screening examinations to patients who are referred by their physicians. The goal of the program is to provide early detection of asymptomatic disease when it is most treatable.

In order to qualify for this screening, patients must meet all of these conditions:

  • Be between the ages of 50 and 80.
  • Have a history of smoking at least a pack a day for at least 20 years.
  • Smoked within the past 15 years.
