Services Offered Through WIC

The WIC program supports our Indiana families by offering:

  • Nutrition and health screening and assessment.

  • Nutrition education and counseling.

  • Breastfeeding education and support.

  • Referrals to Indiana health, family and social services.

  • Supplemental healthy foods tailored to meet specific nutrition needs.

Who is Eligible?

IDOH WIC Eligibility Guidelines

  • Indiana residents who are on Medicaid or meet income guidelines:
    • Pregnant women
    • Breastfeeding women (up to baby’s 1st birthday).
    • Non-breastfeeding postpartum women (up to 6 months).
    • Infants and children (up to their 5th birthday).
