Dr. Minsig Choi joined St. Elizabeth Healthcare after leading the Gastrointestinal (GI) Multidisciplinary Team at Stony Brook University in New York. With more than 20 years of experience treating patients with complex gastrointestinal cancers, he brings extensive expertise in multidisciplinary cancer care, clinical research, and innovative treatment strategies. As the Gastrointestinal Disease Management Team (DMT) Leader at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Dr. Choi is dedicated to advancing comprehensive, patient-centered oncology care. He is passionate about ensuring patients have access to leading-edge treatments and coordinated care close to home. This commitment aligns closely with his guiding philosophy of providing "excellent, innovative, multidisciplinary cancer care to all patients close to home." Dr. Choi’s clinical and research interests focus on gastrointestinal malignancies, with particular expertise in the care of older adults with cancer, targeted therapies, and immunotherapy. He is also actively engaged in developing innovative approaches to improve outcomes, enhance quality of life, and expand treatment options for patients with GI cancers.
