Hi. I’m Jan J and I’m entering into my thirteenth year as a volunteer in the gift shop at St Elizabeth – Florence. Not as many years as some but certainly long enough to realize that I must really like this volunteer gig. It’s a fulfilling and enjoyable way to pass Thursday afternoons and the first Sunday of every month.Six of these years were spent volunteering with my youngest granddaughter for two Sundays a month with immeasurable benefits. In addition, I met and worked with Ann who became my dear friend until she passed. We laughed a lot while enjoying our time in the gift shop.
I hope to be a part of the volunteer family at St. Elizabeth for a long time yet. It’s a great place to give of your time!
