Volunteer Spotlight: Celebrating Culinary Arts Month with Kim & Kim

July is National Culinary Arts Month, and we’re celebrating the incredible volunteers who bring their passion for cooking into our kitchen.

Since September 2024, Kim Tuyn has been volunteering in our Integrative Oncology Demonstration Kitchen, helping cancer survivors and their families build confidence in the kitchen while learning how powerful nutrition can be during treatment and recovery.

We’re also grateful for Kim Cannon, who began volunteering with us that same month. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2020, Kim was inspired to give back to the community that supported her through such an isolating time.

Together, their love of cooking goes far beyond the recipes they share. In every class, they create a welcoming space filled with learning, connection, and laughter.

Thank you, Kim and Kim, for nourishing both bodies and hearts.

We look forward to connecting with you!
