On Friday, July 26, GE Aviation employees delivered Build-A-Bear stuffed animals to the St. Elizabeth Physicians Greendale location as part of their engagement team efforts to find fun and unique ways to embrace the greater Cincinnati community. The furry friends will be given out to pediatric patients at all five St. Elizabeth Physicians Convenient Care locations. The GE employees personally designed the stuffed animals, filling each with unique attributes, such as love, hope, kindness, courage, perseverance and strength. Each also came with a personalized birth certificate and a special edition GE shirt.

The Build-A-Bear event was a hit with GE employees – and with the children receiving the furry friends at St. Elizabeth Physicians.

“It is a great comfort to our small patients that are here due to illness or injury,” says Jackie Houze, CMPE and Section Manager of St. Elizabeth Physicians Convenient Care. “It’s also a pleasant distraction for them during a typically stressful time.”
