We’ve created an extensive performance and injury database and monitor the data gathered throughout the year to find trends and identify areas of need or opportunities for improvement. The Sports Injury Prevention program is a partnership between St. Elizabeth Healthcare, St. Elizabeth Physicians and OrthoCincy Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. ACL Injury Prevention Program Our sports medicine initiative is the first of its kind in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. We collect information and distribute a personalized annual report to each of our partner schools. Our Pre-Season Workout Program and In-Season Maintenance Program decrease ACL injuries in student-athletes. Using our annual injury distribution data, we can pinpoint areas of need across a number of data points to begin to find root causes and put measures in place to help prevent further injuries. We report this data to our partner schools and collaborators to ensure athletes receive the best care possible and we can help reverse some of the national trends related to different orthopaedic injuries.
