Concierge medicine is primary care but delivered differently. At Concierge Complete by St. Elizabeth Physicians we have formed a specialized team of providers and nurse navigators to coordinate your personalized care plan to specifically address your health and wellness needs. We combine seamless access, convenience, and the highest service experience to provide you with a personalized experience and an added layer of attention and treatment.
St. Elizabeth Physicians is opening its first concierge medicine office in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky, on November 4, 2019. The program is called Concierge Complete and gives members 24/7 access to their medical team with extended office visits—in a spa-like environment.
“By paying an annual membership fee, you will have unparalleled access to the concierge team and receive coordinated care throughout the St. Elizabeth health system,” says Viral Patel, DO, Assistant Vice-President of Primary Care. “Our concierge medical team will only have a limited number of patients, so they have more time to build a valuable relationship with you.”
The annual membership fee is in addition to other medical charges that may be billable to your insurance.
Concierge Medicine Today, a key industry publication, estimates that subscription private medical services are growing at a rate of 3% to 6% per year. The benefits of concierge medicine, include:
- Extended office visits and decreased wait-time
- 24/7 concierge team access via phone, and secure email portal via MyChart
- Same-day or next-day appointments (Monday-Friday)
- Annual baseline plan, which may include stress, nutrition and fitness screenings when appropriate
- Diet and lifestyle resources in-office and online
Dr. Patel explains further, “Our team will be focused on supporting your health needs, including wellness care and coordinating closely with any specialists. This can be especially beneficial if you have a chronic illness that requires increased appointments with your provider.”
Concierge Complete by St. Elizabeth Physicians is designed to help people who want more time with their provider and those with demanding lifestyles who are committed to developing a personal, proactive strategy to achieve and maintain optimal wellness. Concierge medicine is a great opportunity for patients with complex medical conditions that may benefit from extended appointment visit lengths.
How much does it cost? It is surprisingly affordable for the benefits. An individual will pay $2,000 annually and a couple will pay $3,500. Membership fees can’t be submitted to your Healthcare Savings Account (HSA) and the member is responsible for all co-pays and deductibles.
Concierge providers work closely with their inpatient counterparts when you need hospital care, and they are dedicated to expedient follow-up after your hospital discharge. This focused attention can help decrease rehospitalizations for some patients. It also allows our providers to work closely with our specialists and coordinate specific treatment plans.
