Getting Vaccinated for COVID-19

Where can I get a COVID-19 vaccine?

COVID-19 vaccine appointments are available at
St. Elizabeth Physicians (SEP) primary care, pediatric and family medicine locations in Kentucky and Indiana.

Patients can also receive a COVID-19 vaccine during their regularly scheduled appointments. Appointments for a subsequent dose will be made before leaving the office or can be scheduled via MyChart.

At this time, coverage for the cost of 2025 COVID-19 vaccine remains uncertain, as federal guidelines and insurance policies continue to evolve. We are closely monitoring updates from regulatory agencies.

If you would like to schedule with a Primary Care Provider, please call Central Scheduling at
(800) 737-7900.

Who can get a COVID-19 vaccine?

St. Elizabeth Physicians follows CDC and FDA guidelines and recommends COVID-19 vaccination, incorporating guidance from leading medical societies such as the American Academy of Family Physicians.

The AAFP recommends COVID-19 vaccination for all adults ages 19 and older, with a priority on those at higher risk, including individuals 65 and older.

The AAFP also supports vaccinating children ages 6 to 23 months and endorses a risk-based, single-dose approach for children ages 2 to 18, in alignment with guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Vaccination is also recommended during pregnancy and while breastfeeding in alignment with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Robin Morency: A Story of Gratitude

Robin Morency was admitted to St. Elizabeth after testing positive for bilateral COVID-19 and bacterial pneumonia in December of 2021.
