American Cancer Society updates colon cancer screening, highlights at-home and blood tests

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Updated colon cancer screening guidelines from the American Cancer Society are putting new emphasis on at-home testing options, including a newly approved blood test, in an effort to get more people screened.
Dr. Doug Flora, executive medical director of oncology at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, said screening can do more than detect cancer early.
