NORWOOD (FOX19) -- The Greater Cincinnati Health Council conducted special membership meeting Oct. 2 and elected its 2014 board of directors, which ill be led for a second year by Chris Carle, senior vice president and chief operating officer, St. Elizabeth Healthcare.
Seven continuing board members will be joined by two newly elected Board members for 2014.
Linda Smith, medical center director at Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, will chair the council’s governance committee in 2014, and Debbie Hayes, vice president and chief nursing officer at The Christ Hospital Health Network, will join the board as a member-at-large.
The 2014 board includes:

James May, Catholic Health Partners, Terrace Park resident
William Kent, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Wyoming resident

The council is a nonprofit association serving 30-plus hospitals and more than 100 long-term care, home health and other health care providers in southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and southeastern Indiana.
