What Made You Choose St. Elizabeth For Your Maternity Care?

Kelsey Real Mom

“I chose St. Elizabeth Healthcare for all three of my deliveries, and each experience was uniquely special and exceptional. My first delivery was a scheduled induction, and I’ll never forget walking into the unit to find my room decorated in pink with a sign on the door featuring my daughter’s name. Although the induction didn’t go exactly as planned and ultimately resulted in a C-section, the support I received from the nursing staff was incredible. As a first-time mom, I was nervous and unsure of what to expect, but the care team was with me every step of the way. From the techs who gently bathed my newborn, to the lactation consultants who answered every question and welcomed me back post-discharge for continued support, to the amazing nurses who cared for both me and my baby—I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ve since delivered two more children at St. Elizabeth—one in 2021 and most recently in July 2024—and each time, the care has been consistently outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend St. Elizabeth Healthcare as a place to bring new life into the world.”

Dr. Loftus-Smith, Dr. Hahn, Dr. Satterwhite, Dr. Platt-Faulkner, Dr. Schadler, Dr. Carpenter, Dr. Roadhouse.”

“My nurses—Ashlee, Tabatha, Chris, and Sara—were absolutely phenomenal. Their compassion, attentiveness, and encouragement made all the difference during such a special time. I felt truly supported every step of the way. A huge thank you as well to my amazing providers, Dr. Greene and Dr. Satterwhite, for their expert care and guidance throughout my journey. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help welcome my little one into the world!”

What advice would you give to other moms?

Kelsey Real Mom

“My advice to other moms is this: give yourself grace. Every pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey is different, and there’s no “perfect” way to do any of it. Trust your instincts, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to lean on your support system—whether that’s your partner, your care team, or other moms who’ve been there. Take the time to rest, bond with your baby, and care for yourself too. You’re learning and growing right alongside your little one, and that’s something to be proud of. And remember: it’s okay to ask for help. You don’t have to do it all alone.”

“No matter what you are always enough, always ask for help if you are feeling overwhelmed. If you have any questions don’t be afraid to ask.”
