Meet Clay Mefford

Clay Mefford - Sports Performance

Clay Mefford is a NKY native, earning his degree in Exercise Science from Northern Kentucky University. Clay is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA CSCS). Clay has been working in the sports performance industry over the past 7 years, training athletes at the youth, collegiate, and professional level. He operated & managed a local sports performance business for 6 years, and most recently stepped into the Sports Performance Director role for Town & Country. Clay is passionate about helping athletes build their confidence, strength, and speed to reach their desired goals. Both Clay’s knowledge and expertise in the industry have given him the opportunity to work with a wide variety of individuals so far in his early career.

Classes

ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE TRAINING

Ages: Grades 6-12

Instructor: Clay Mefford

Athletic Performance Training is an approach to training that helps athletes achieve their desired performance goals. This will focus on full body strength, power, speed, and agility. Run faster, jump higher, and have the ability to rapidly change direction without the loss of speed, coordination, balance, strength or body control.

IN-SEASON TRAINING

Ages: Grades 6-12

Instructor: Clay Mefford

Our in-season training sessions are designed for athletes to maintain strength and reduce injury risk while in their sport’s season. It is not uncommon to lose weight, grow fatigued, lose muscle, lose strength, and lose power. Don’t allow all your gains to disappear every time you’re in-season.
