Home Visits

St. Elizabeth Medical Center offers home care visits, ordered by your physician. A qualified, specially trained nurse can visit you and your baby at home. These in-home assessments allow you to leave the hospital sooner than in the past, even if your baby requires ongoing medical attention. Most insurance policies cover the cost of this service. Our staff will coordinate the home care and set up the appointments most convenient to your schedule. The care for you and/or your baby through home visits is billed to your insurance.

In addition, St. Elizabeth now offers a new service for Post Partum care in the medical Center. This center provides the same excellent service as the home visit but allows you to also have the Lactation Consultant available at the time of your visit. Whether you choose the Home visit or the Postpartum Care Center visit you will have excellent assistance.
