Bishop William A. Hughes Pavilion is a Skilled Nursing Facility located on the fourth floor of St Elizabeth Medical Center North Unit. The Pavilion is a license Medicare skilled nursing facility with a total of 19 beds, 5 private and 7 semi- private rooms located around a multi purpose dining/activity room and a family lounge with an Aviary. The focus of the program is to provide skilled medical and nursing care with an emphasis on rehabilitative therapy services. The program provides speech therapy, an occupational rehabilitation apartment and physical therapy services provided at the bedside or within our therapy gym.
Nursing care is provided by licensed registered and practical nurses as well as state certified nursing assistants. A team of healthcare professionals, directed by the resident’s physician, will plan and implement your care. As a team, there is commitment to working with residents, their families and / or caregivers to restore each resident to the highest level of independence possible while supporting their physical, psychological, social, spiritual and emotional needs. The staff encourages resident participation, as well as the participation of others that will be assisting in their care in the future. By working together as a team, the best possible outcomes can be achieved.
