St. Elizabeth Medicaid Nurse Aid Training Program  

The purpose of the St. Elizabeth Medical Center Medicaid Nurse Aid Training Program is to prepare the nurse aide to provide high quality, direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurse personnel. The 75-hour course includes theory as well as supervised lab and clinical training.   Please call (859) 292-4867 for additional information.

Cost: 
$425
Application deadline is five (5) days prior to the start of class.
Time:   2:30 - 10:30 p.m.
Dates:   February - 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14

Saturday Classes
Time:
  7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Dates:  February - 9 & 16


April Class Dates and Times
Cost:
  $425
Application deadline is five (5) days prior to the start of class.
Time:  8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Dates:  April - 1, 2, 7, 8, 11, 15

Clinical Class Days
Time:
7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Dates: April - 9, 17, 18, 22


November Class Dates and Times
Cost:
  $425
Application deadline five (5) days prior to the start of class.
Time:   2:30 - 10:30 p.m.
Dates:   November - 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20

Saturday Classes
Time:
  7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Dates:  November - 15 & 22



Medicaid Nurse Aide Training for Nursing and Pre-Nursing Students

(All students must show proof of acceptance to college or university).  All computer modules must be complete prior to scheduling clinical dates.

:  $150 for St. Elizabeth associates, $495 for non-employees
(Students are required to complete all CBLs and quizzes prior to clinical dates.)

July - 14, 15, 22, 23
August - 4, 5, 6, 7
December - 11, 12, 17, 18

Course Requirements

*Course requirements must be completed prior to the first day of class.
* NO artifical nails of any kind are permitted in patient care areas.

At time of application:

  • Provide proof of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Provide proof of health insurance

At time of interview:

  • Participants must be able to commit to the classroom and clinical time requirements described in the course syllabus.
  • Statement of recent physical exam, within 6 months of the start of the program.
  • Proof of updated immunizations, PPD, MMR (documentation if born after 1957) and Hepatitis B series started or signed waiver.

Cost:   $425  for day and evening classes, $495 for online course

Refund Policy:
Prior to the start of class, a 100% refund.  After this time a $50 processing fee will be deducted.  No refund will be available after the the third day of class.
