Hours of Operation
Diagnostic Services
The hours of operation for the Imaging Center are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
MRI
A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a test that uses a magnetic field and pulse wave energy to make pictures of organs and structures inside the body. In most cases, MRI gives information that cannot be seen on an x-ray, ultrasound or CT scan.
Echocardiograms
An echocardiogram (also called an echo) is a type of ultrasound test that uses high-pitched sound waves that are sent through a device called a transducer. The device picks up echoes of the sound waves as they bounce off the different parts of your heart. These echoes are turned into moving pictures of your heart that can be seen on a video screen.
Ultrasound
An ultrasound uses reflected sound waves to produce a picture of the organs and other structures in the body. Occasionally a specialized ultrasound is ordered for a detailed evaluation of a specific organ.
Vascular
A vascular study is an ultrasound of the veins and arteries
