The Hand Therapy department offers certified therapists, support staff, equipment and facilities exclusively for the provision of state-of-the-art evaluation, education and rehabilitation of hand and upper extremity injuries and disorders.

St Elizabeth's Hand Therapy Center includes seven licensed physical and occupational therapists, all board certified in hand therapy. This makes our center the largest of its kind in the Greater Cincinnati area. We offer a state-of-the-art equipped clinic which includes computerized Dexter for evaluation and therapy, BTE for functional strengthening, and Valpar for increasing functional use. We have the latest splinting materials, exercise equipment, modalities, and functional aids. Among a sample of the many diagnoses we treat: amputations, arthritis, tendon injuries, cumulative trauma, carpal tunnel, fractures, tendonitis, ligament injuries, industrial trauma, sensibility reduction, scar management, and burns. We have our own library of recent and reputable journals and a research lab for ongoing research studies.

The Hand Therapy Center is a referral driven department with major insurances and most workers' comp accepted.
