The cycle can be broken and DOVE can help you. DOVE is a tool that you can use to help YOU get control of your life.
DOVE:
- A Forensic nurse will see you to document and take pictures of your injuries.
- Injury documentation can be powerful and used to help you heal as well as in the court system.
- There is no charge for the forensic exam, however if you are seen in the Emergency Department, charges for the ED will apply.
- The exam process is completely confidential and in your control.
- The records are maintained in the DOVE office at St. Elizabeth North.
- The DOVE nurse will refer you to Women's Crisis Center to help you through the court system.
- Information about getting emergency protection orders (EPO) will be available.

- Call the DOVE Office at (859) 292-4063 to speak with a DOVE nurse and/or set up an appointment for an exam.
- Contact the Emergency Departments at St. Elizabeth North (292-4353) or South (344-2250) and ask to speak to the Charge Nurse.
- Contact Women's Crisis Center at 491-3335.
