The cycle can be broken and DOVE can help you. DOVE is a tool that you can use to help YOU get control of your life.

DOVE:

• A Forensic nurse will see you to document and take pictures of your injuries.
• Injury documentation can be powerful and used to help you heal as well as in the court system.
• There is no charge for the forensic exam, however if you are seen in the Emergency Department, charges for the ED will apply.
• The exam process is completely confidential and in your control.
• The records are maintained in the DOVE office at St. Elizabeth North.
• The DOVE nurse will refer you to Women's Crisis Center to help you through the court system.
• Information about getting emergency protection orders (EPO) will be available.
