The Cardiac Health Center helps heart patients achieve their goals of returning to an active lifestyle through a program of monitored physical activity and exercise, education and psychological support. The program is divided into three phases. Phase I begins when the patient is still in the hospital, providing a basic understanding of their illness and what to expect when they return home. Phase II begins a more comprehensive education and an individually prescribed, monitored exercise program. In Phase III, patients can maintain and improve on the level of fitness they have achieved.

The Cardiac Health Center is conveniently located near St. Elizabeth South on Thomas More Parkway. Hours are designed to fit the needs of participants.
