Rosanne Nields, FACHE
Vice President of Planning and Government Relations

Rosanne Nields currently serves as Vice President of Planning and Government Relations for St. Elizabeth Healthcare. She began her career with St. Elizabeth Healthcare in 1988 as an analyst and has held her current role as Vice President since October 2008 where she oversees Planning, Government Relations, Volunteer Services, PrimeWise, Auxiliaries and Gift Shops.

Ms. Nields acts as a legislative lobbyist for the hospital regarding local, state and federal issues. She has been key in the development of the organization’s strategic and service line planning efforts. She is not only coordinator of all Certificate of Need (C.O.N.) and regulatory activities for the organization, but she also helped coordinate the efforts for the FTC approval process for the merger of the former St. Luke Hospitals and St. Elizabeth Medical Center to create St. Elizabeth Healthcare.

Ms. Nields has served in leadership roles at the Northern Kentucky Chamber, various healthcare planning organizations and other area community agencies including the Greater Cincinnati Health Council, the Health Collaborative of Greater Cincinnati, Boone County Success by Six, Redwood and United Way. She is a graduate of the Leadership Northern Kentucky Class of 1994 and the recipient of the Excel (Customer Service) award.

Prior to joining St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Ms. Nields spent one year at The Christ Hospital as an Administrative Resident. She earned her bachelor of arts in public administration in 1985 from Miami University where she graduated summa cum laude and her master’s degree in health services administration from Xavier University in 1987.
