Teens are an important part of the Volunteer Team at St. Elizabeth. Here are the details!

Volunteer Teens Must :
- Be between 14 years old and a senior in high school
- Have parent/guardian approval
- Have appropriate and reliable transportation
- Have the time to commit to 3-4 hours of service once a week
- Purchase ($10) and wear a uniform - fee waiver available
- Maintain a clean uniform and neat appearance
- Have an interest in being in a medical environment, learning new skills and serving others

- April 1st for a summer placement
- August 1st for a school year placement
- Participation is limited for each session with first priority to returning teen volunteers
Attend Mandatory Training
- Teen Information Night Meeting - Optional Parent Session Offered
- Medical Center Orientation and Training Modules
- Optional Nursing Area Training
Commit to a Weekly Schedule
- Summer Program (50 students) - June 2nd through August 8th Minimum of one time a week for 8-10 weeks over the summer
- School Year Program (25 students) - 1 time a week during the school year
- School to Work Program - Contact your school for details
