Become A Teen Volunteer!
Teens are an important part of the Volunteer Team at St. Elizabeth.  Here are the details!

     Volunteer Teens Must :  

  • Be between 14 years old and a senior in high school
  • Have parent/guardian approval
  • Have appropriate and reliable transportation
  • Have the time to commit to 3-4 hours of service once a week
  • Purchase ($10) and wear a uniform - fee waiver available
  • Maintain a clean uniform and neat appearance
  • Have an interest in being in a medical environment, learning new skills and serving others

Register - Call 859-301-2140

  • April 1st for a summer placement
  • August 1st for a school year placement
  • Participation is limited for each session with first priority to returning teen volunteers

Attend Mandatory Training

  • Teen Information Night Meeting - Optional Parent Session Offered
  • Medical Center Orientation and Training Modules
  • Optional Nursing Area Training

Commit to a Weekly Schedule

  • Summer Program (50 students) - June 2nd through August 8th    Minimum of one time a week for 8-10 weeks over the summer
  • School Year Program (25 students) - 1 time a week during the school year
  • School to Work Program - Contact your school for details
