Erlanger, KY -- The St. Elizabeth CardioVascular Mobile Health Unit and PrimeWise present a free community workshop “Heart Matters 2014” on Wednesday, February 26. The event will occur at The METS Center on 3861 Olympic Blvd. in Erlanger from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will be speakers from St. Elizabeth’s Heart and Vascular Institute, blood pressure checks, a healthy cooking demonstration by Chef Larry of Remke Markets and a 10-minute get-fit workout presented by Cardiac Rehab. St. Elizabeth is working to better identify cardiovascular disease, as well as to prevent stroke and cardiac emergencies. The CardioVascular Mobile Unit extends the experience and excellence of the St. Elizabeth Heart and Vascular Institute by providing screenings, risk appraisals and education in the community.
