Eldering with GRACE
Eldering with GRACE is for individuals who wish to engage in their life with wisdom, vitality and truthfulness. This program will equip those 50 and over to discover ways to reclaim the revered title of elder.
Participants will have a chance to personally assess their resilience as they learn tools for “switching on their brain” and being “transformed by the renewing of their minds.”
Foundations in Faith Community Nursing
The Health Ministries Programs of Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, OH, and St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Covington, KY, are partnering to host a Foundations in Faith Community Nursing Course. The course begins with day one where participants will get an introduction into the concepts of both health ministry and faith community nursing. It is appropriate for all members of a health ministry team including nurses, allied health professionals, clergy and congregational staff. Day one can also be taken as a stand-alone event.
The full course is intended for registered nurses. Participants will further learn how to use their professional knowledge and skills to deliver whole person care – body-mind and spirit – whether in a congregation, a community based health ministry or in a clinical nursing practice.
